Pomona is one of the most musical cities in the valley. It’s home to the Fox Theater, Cal Poly’s music department and an arts high school downtown. Our studio is just north of the city on Foothill Blvd, about 10 minutes from downtown.

For families who love guitar and violin
Walk the Arts Colony on a Second Saturday or catch Cal Poly Pomona’s ensembles, including its mariachi groups, and you’ll hear how much guitar and violin mean in Pomona.
We teach private guitar, ukulele, bass, violin and viola lessons for kids, teens and adults. Beginners start with posture, tone and simple songs, then build toward the music they actually want to play.
Parents who want to learn alongside their kids are welcome too. Our adult lessons are built for complete beginners.

How far is La Verne Music School from Pomona?+
From downtown Pomona it is about 5 miles and 10 minutes, north on Garey Ave past Fairplex. North Pomona is about 8 minutes away, and Phillips Ranch is about 18 minutes. We are at 1502 Foothill Blvd #104, La Verne.
My child attends the School of Arts and Enterprise. Are private lessons still worth it?+
Yes. Classes at an arts school teach a group, while a private lesson focuses entirely on one student’s instrument or voice, their technique, and the pieces they are working on.
Do you teach guitar and violin to kids in Pomona?+
Yes. We teach private guitar, ukulele, bass, violin and viola lessons for kids, teens and adults, including complete beginners.
Can Cal Poly Pomona students or adults take lessons?+
Yes. Adults of any level can book private lessons. Cal Poly Pomona is about 19 minutes from the studio via the 57 and the 210.
How much are music lessons for Pomona students?+
Private lessons are $47.25 per 30 minute lesson. Mini Musicians is $135 per month and Fairytale Princess Ballet is $125 per month. Lessons are month to month with no long term contract.
When can Pomona families schedule lessons?+
We teach Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. If you are coming from Phillips Ranch or Cal Poly, a Saturday or early-evening lesson helps you avoid afternoon traffic.
