Ontario has a historic downtown, a WPA-era school auditorium and a community band that has played free concerts for decades. Our studio in La Verne is about 17 minutes from downtown Ontario, with weekday lessons until 8pm and Saturdays too.

Times are in light traffic via the 10 Freeway west. Another option is Euclid Ave north to Foothill Blvd, then west through Upland and Claremont, about 20 minutes from downtown.

Colony, in Ontario Ranch, has a marching band and an orchestra, and it hosts the Colony High School Band Premiere, a fall competition with about 27 bands.

The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band is in its 41st season of free concerts at Chaffey’s Gardiner Spring Auditorium. It is proof that music doesn’t stop after high school.

If you played in school and put your instrument away, or never got the chance to learn at all, our adult lessons are built for you. Book a 30 minute private lesson on weekday evenings until 8pm or on Saturday.

How far is La Verne Music School from Ontario?+

From downtown Ontario it is about 11 miles and 17 minutes via the 10 Freeway west in light traffic. North Ontario is about 16 minutes away and Ontario Ranch about 28 minutes. We are at 1502 Foothill Blvd #104, La Verne.

Can voice lessons help my child get into a Chaffey Theatre Company musical?+

Voice lessons build breath support, pitch, range and confidence, which are the skills a student needs to audition for a musical. We teach singers of every level.

Do you teach Colony High band and orchestra students?+

Yes. We teach violin, viola, brass, woodwinds, drums and more, one on one, which complements a school band or orchestra.

We live in Ontario Ranch. When is the best time for lessons?+

Ontario Ranch is about 28 minutes away in light traffic, so a Saturday lesson between 9am and 4pm, or an early-evening weekday lesson, is usually easiest to fit in.

How much are music lessons for Ontario students?+

Private lessons are $47.25 per 30 minute lesson. Mini Musicians is $135 per month and Fairytale Princess Ballet is $125 per month. Lessons are month to month with no long term contract.

Do you offer lessons for adults in Ontario?+

Yes. Adults of every level, from first-timers to returning players, can book private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, drums, strings and band instruments.
